Biggest Ever Football Session - 7th March 2025

Biggest Ever Football Session is Back!

Lets get as many girls as possible in school all playing football on the same day

On Friday 7th March 2025, the Biggest EVER Football Session is back and this is your official invite to get your school involved!

Be part of a fun day of celebration that will inspire and empower the next generation through girls' football at your school. It’s easy to get involved - let’s make this unforgettable! Whether you are already delivering girls’ football in your school or want to take that first step to give girls’ equal access, this is an event not to be missed.

Why should your school get involved?

  • Inspiration & Empowerment: This is a great way to celebrate International Women’s Day. Your school will be part of a nationwide celebration, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in sports, showing pupils in your school that girls belong in football.
  • Develop Young Leaders: This event offers a fantastic opportunity for students to take charge in organising and running the day, building essential leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to Suit You: Whether it’s before school, lunchtime, or after school, you choose the time that works best for you. We want to make it easy for everyone to participate!
  • Support & Resources: When you sign up, you’ll receive session ideas and a marketing toolkit. Use these to get your students and the entire school community excited about the day and to plan your session.

All we ask is that you register your school so we can see how many girls are taking part and shout about it across social media using #LetGirlsPlay.

What is #LetGirlsPlay?

The FA’s goal is for girls to have the same football opportunities as boys in schools and clubs. #LetGirlsPlay is a campaign to influence and drive change, showing that football can and should be played by girls.

It is bringing together a growing community of people who want to champion equal access for girls, helping create independent, resilient young girls who will be a force for good in all local communities.
