Vacancy: Referee Appointments Officer (Youth Competitions)
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and proactive individual who wants to make a positive contribution to the delivery of Hertfordshire FA competitions
Hertfordshire FA is looking to recruit a Referee Appointments Officer (Youth Competitions) to support with the delivery of our Youth County Cups.
The post holder will be responsible for the appointment of Match Officials for our Boys and Girls County Cup Competitions and will work closely with the Appointments Officers of local Youth Leagues to achieve this aim as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
A keen interest in refereeing and youth football is preferable but not strictly necessary for someone undertaking this role. A working knowledge of the FA Full-Time system is would be desirable, but not essential as full training can be given.
Joe Karram, Hertfordshire FA’s Football Development Officer (Referees) and Richard Dowden, Chair of the Referees Committee (Promotions and Appointments) will be available to offer the role holder the necessary advice and support.
Safeguarding is at the heart of how we operate and ensuring we consistently exceed the standards that are required, the appointed individual will be required to complete the relevant Safeguarding qualifications and training in order to perform this role.
This is a voluntary role where expenses and an honorarium will be paid.
